My Offence

I had been caught playing the game.
I bowed my head in shame,
as the Principal called my name.
They were all gone now; my Fame!
My Offence burnt them to flames.

Yeah, she tried to make me tame
but gambling kept calling so I came.
I tried to change but I always remained the same,
Obviously my excuses were too lame.
So I alone am responsible, I've got to take the blame.
