SCRIBBLES: WOMAN TROUBLE

The sun was setting, the cool evening breeze whistled all around him. It wasn’t dark yet but he still had to watch his step. He walked on the streets with a deep frown that  was frightening to people who passed him by. It had been eight months of fighting with his girlfriend. To some extent he had gotten used to it and it hardly bothered him anymore; it was just one of those normal things. But this fight was different. This time he wasn’t going to take her insane accusations and act like nothing was wrong.
“She wasn’t like that when we met” he thought to himself. He remembered the first day he saw her. She was dark skinned and petite, with all the right things in all the right places. But it was her brain he was more fascinated by. Her views on matters were simply astonishing. She was kind and sweet, now she was just a crazy woman he had to run away from. For the past six months she had accused him of cheating on her; of course this wasn’t true. Steven had been faithful to the core, he had cared for her. Some would even say he was the perfect partner. I guess that “perfection” was too much for Amaka to handle and she needed something to stain the perfect picture.
Steven pushed these thoughts out of his head. It was over and nothing was going to change that fact. It was established both in Heaven and on Earth. His mood was brightening up when someone bumped into him. He was about to turn and curse the hell out of this witch. “like did they send you from my village to give me wahala?”
When he turned completely and saw her face he wished he could simply fly away like superman. It was his EX! At this point he was convinced someone somewhere definitely did not like him at all. He was just getting away from one crazy chic and here he was face to face with the mother of all crazy creatures. Juliet smiled in a devious manner and Steven knew he was totally screwed!

SHADOWS IN MY MIND.

I see shadows everywhere
Lurking in the darkness in my inner mind
They spy on me
But never reveal them selves
Like thieves who do not want to be caught
They flee when I get close
They resist my touch
I ask who they are
But I already know the answer so they need not tell
THEY ARE ME!
I see myself in myself
Pieces of my subconscious
Pieces of mind
All with different opinions
Pieces of my imaginations
All with different fantasies
Some of love
Some of glory
Some of pain
Some of darkness
How do I know these things?
The shadows do not speak
Yet I hear them
I KNOW WHAT THEY SAY!
They are after all me
Pieces of me
Some I deny
Some I accept
I am confused
I am trapped with the walls of my mind.
I want to be whole again
I WANT TO BE FREE!

New year resolutions???

No Matter What Your New Year Resolution Is...!

The type of people in your life has a lot to do in your journey of life. Never start a new year without screening the people in your life. Evaluating them will let you know who to upgrade, downgrade, or totally disconnect .

Always remember that, not everybody deserves the special guest star to participate in the movie of your life. Anyone who is not adding any value to your life shouldn't be in the front line of your life. The dream of a sadist is for every body to be miserable in life.
Those who cannot see greatness in their own life will never see anything good in your own life.

Whoever sees or treats you as an option doesn't deserve to be a priority in your life.

Never put temporary people in the permanent place of your life, and don't be afraid of removing the wrong people from the right place of your life. If its your life then its your right. Be bold to take any decision concerning your life. If they call it pride, tell them its class.

No matter the economy of the jungle, lions will never eat grass. Even if education is free, a rat will never go to the same school with a cat.

You can never go anywhere with negative people. Negative people are like cars without gas and engines. You can only sit in them, but they will never take you anywhere.

Always remember this: Never ever embark on a life journey with someone who is not going anywhere in life, or willing to add value to your life.

Dear God.

Dear God, I'm beginning to get worried for my country
These things in the papers and the stories
All these things throw me Into gory
It seems all is lost for the this country
We do not even know what we are doing
We hear so many things and do not know the one to believe
Is it that of the past or the present one we see
Now some are shouting dasuki others dezianni and ngozi
Senate is proposing social media bill, aisha buhari is hosting
No one is talking about the tyranny that I see coming
And one leader is saying salary is a privilege
Does he even know what he is saying
This is nonsense and it's so annoying
Unethical and highly devastating
I can't even believe this
That he has guts to say this thing
I feel sorry and feel like crying
For my dear country
I don't think my leaders are thinking
How are we doing with fuel scarcity
Everyone is talking no one is speaking
Seems I'm the only one that thinks this is crazy
I feel very burdened for my dear country
How did we get into all these
See the way my school is
I cannot continue living like this
This is not what God planned for my dear country and me
It was humans that made us like this
Dear God what I want this Christmas is this:
Can you just change everything to favour me?

THESE DAYS.

These days i stare at the sun by day
And howl at the moon by night
I listen to what the animals have to say
I watch the birds take flight
I see the waters flow
And marvel as the fish swim
I watch the fireflies glow
How peaceful this seems
Nature in all her splendour
Is amazing to behold
The sweet scent of the air I savour
And await the mysteries foretold.

These days I no longer sit in the dark
But thirst to see the world
I long to make tea from tree barks
And watch time unfold.


These days I have found peace and merry
But I still long for one friend
I await the day I marry
But for now this is the end.
